Biography
Lars Tormod Jenset
Born in Midsund, Norway January 17th 1978.

Education:
* 9 years at Midsund Skule
* 3 years at Molde Videregående Skole with music as a major.
* 1 year at Viken Folkehøgskole in Gjøvik Norway at the jazz- pop- and rock line.
* Examen Philosophicum and examen facultatum humaniora at the University of Oslo
* 1,5 year (Musikk Mellomfag) Music Studies at University of Oslo
* 5 years at the musician diploma programme at Rhythmical Music Conservatory in     Copenhagen.
* Pedagocics at Norges Musikkhøskole (2007-2009)

Since 2000 Lars Tormod has lived and worked in Copenhagen alongside his studies at Rhythmical Music Conservatory. He has recorded albums with Hot ‘n Spicy, Pillow, Niels Løkkegaard, and Rodent and toured all the Nordic countries with these bands. He has done over 200 concerts and appeared at Molde, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Nattjazz in Bergen Jazzfestivals, and at Copenhagen Jazzhouse, Fascing in Stockholm to mention a few.. As a sideman he has played a tour in Romania with Christoffer Møllers trio SAN, a tour in Iceland with Icelandic singer Ragnheidur Gröndal and several club performances in Denmark. And tours in Greenland, Faraoe Islands, and France with Pillow.

Moved back to Oslo in 2007 and is working as a freelance musician and music teacher.
